Every classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art interactive whiteboards and wi-fi internet connection.  This is supplemented across the school by 3 trolleys of age appropriate laptops, that pupils can use in all subjects.

King’s College School, La Moraleja has a dedicated ICT suite where pupils can work individually and ICT classes are timetabled in this room, once a week, from year 5.

Further ICT work stations are available in the Library, where pupils can study during their own time. Senior students are encouraged to view computers as tools for learning in all subject areas.

Further provision includes:

  • A Broadcast system, which allows teachers to demonstrate techniques on all screens simultaneously.  Staff can also view what is happening on each monitor from the master computer and take control of individual computers to give guidance on screen.
  • Digital, still and video cameras introduce students to image processing allowing photographs to be imported into documents with ease.
  • Pupils also learn to use sound manipulation and animation techniques to present their work in different formats.
  • Training is regularly provided to all staff to ensure that teaching and learning is up-to-date with the latest developments.
